Hold the wrap with the center seam in front of you.
Wrap around your waist to your back, crossing fabric while bringing over the shoulders. Make sure the fabric is flat and snug.
Stuff the fabric inside the center seam piece and pull out the bottom, forming straps.
Cross the fabric inside the center seam and wrap the two pieces around your hips.
Secure with rings and tuck in the end. If your wrap doesn't have rings, then just tie the two ends together.
Put the baby's leg through the strap closest to you, spreading the fabric over the baby's bum. Repeat for the other leg.
Tuck
the baby's arms inside the straps (best for small or sleeping babies).
Tuck baby's legs inside the center seam piece, pull up and stretch over
baby's body. (Shown here in tummy-to-tummy position) Older/bigger babies can 'ride with their arms outside the straps.
For hip carry, shift the fabric of the straps over to one side. When positioning the baby, simply do so over your hip.
For outward facing, repeat the steps for tummy facing, only with baby facing out.
For
back carry, have someone help you position the baby. It's similar to
the tummy-to-tummy position, only using the back straps and one of the
horizontal pieces wrapped around your waist to pull over baby's body
instead of the center seam piece.
For
nursing position (example shown using a stuffed bunny), remove the
outer strap from the baby, and reposition so the entire baby is being
cupped by the strap closest to you. The wrap will hold the baby snug
to your body while they nurse.
